NORWICH – This time of year raises new concerns for the Norwich Fire Department as summer time hazards begin to appear.

Fire Dept. officials recommend people take extra care while driving and having controlled burns.

“This time of year you’ll start to see brush fires and with everyone out and about the amount of MVA’s (motor vehicle accidents) is usually one of the highest,” said Norwich Fire Captain Mike Ford.
