Mang, Mirabito offices move to Binghamton
SIDNEY – The Mang, Mirabito and Quickway headquarters in Sidney are moving to the MetroCenter in downtown Binghamton June 1 as part of a strategic business expansion initiative, a company bulletin announced this week.
Customers are encouraged to be patient over the weekend as telecommunications connections may be spotty initially.
All sales and services offices and employees currently in Sidney and in Norwich will remain stable.
The move is the result of “a comprehensive process that reviewed our goals for the future and as a result, will open new horizons for the vision of our company,” Mang Insurance Agency President Rick Mirabito said.
Among other location-related benefits, the MetroCenter location was chosen in order to meet the company’s growing information technology and communication requirements as well as to accommodate its organizational needs.
“This plan will enable us to accelerate our strategic business expansion initiatives that will fuel our future growth,” Mirabito said.
The move, which is nearing completion, involves locating all corporate offices and functions to 49 Court St. in Binghamton. This includes finance and accounting, information technology, human resources and company executives.
Later in the month, the Mang Insurance office in Sidney will relocate to 44 Grand St. in Sidney. This office will be a full service insurance operation providing all lines including car, home, life, business, health and benefits.
The office move in Sidney was necessitated as a result of damaged sustained during the region’s record-breaking flood in June last year. The company has been operating from temporary quarters since that time.
“There will be absolutely no change to the 20 plus jobs in Chenango County,” Mirabito said.
