Grand jury indicts four

NORWICH – Monday morning, the Chenango County grand jury returned four more felony indictments.
• Michael A. Church, 22, Mitchell Street, Norwich, was indicted on second-degree rape, and endangering the welfare of a child. He is accused of having sex with a female under the age of 15 in May, in the City of Norwich.
• Jamie D. Nichols, 30, was indicted for driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with more than .08 blood alcohol level. He was arrested June 16 in the Town of New Berlin.
• Isaiah Fenger, 25, was indicted for driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content in excess of .08 and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
• Christopher G. Barrett, 43, was indicted for driving while intoxicated.
All four of the indicted will be arraigned at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 6 in Chenango County Court.
Last week, the same Chenango County grand jury moved to re-indict Peter M. Wlasiuk for a single count of second degree murder.
