Woods Tea Company to perform at Gaines Park

SHERBURNE – The Sherburne Rotary’s 18th season of Music in the Park will continue on Wednesday with a performance by Woods Tea Company.
Woods Tea Company has been featured at Music in the Park in the past, and had delighted audiences with their tight harmonies, quick wit and rapport. The band plays a mix of sea chanties, lively folk music, spirited bluegrass and haunting Celtic ballads combined with some bad jokes.
The group is a trip made up of Mike Lussen, Howard Wooden and Rusty Jacobs. Lussen has written many of the bands songs and plays guitar, banjo, bozouki and bodhran. Wooden also writes songs and music and plays bass and guitar. Jacobs, who has been with Woods Tea Company for 20 years, is a joke teller and is known for his lively vocals, pennywhistle playing and guitar work.
The concert will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Sherburne’s Gaines Park. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors.
