Garden Club offers Colorscape bus tours
NORWICH – The Norwich Garden Club will offer a bus tour of Norwich during the Saturday of Colorscape weekend, Sept. 8, as a fundraiser to cover the cost of flowers for the hanging baskets in downtown Norwich.
The tour will highlight the Victorian architecture displayed in the many gracious homes in the city and discuss the people who built these homes in the 1800’s and the economy of the times which made this prosperity possible. Each tour will be one hour long and leave from Broad Street by East Side Park on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
For more information, check the information booth at the Colorscape festival.
