NORWICH – Norwich was able to pull to .500 (6-6) finishing its meet season with a victory over Oneonta Monday.
Norwich had individual wins from Makenzie Williams, Julia Simcoe, Savanna Keator, Jessica Wrieden, Ellie Sacks and Rachel Lorenz. Williams was the lone double individual event winner taking the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. “The girls went through a lot with our pool down for six weeks out of the season,” said Norwich coach Amanda Downey. “They have overcome a lot, and I don’t think it will impact finals. They’re excited to start tapering for sectionals, and we hope their times will come down.”
