Ballroom dance classes now offered in Norwich
NORWICH – The Amber Perkins School of the Arts is proud to announce Ballroom Dance Classes with expert Clarissa Thomas as the new instructor. Classes are starting Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.
• International Latin – Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Cha Cha, Jive
• International Standard – Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz
• American/Social – Foxtrot, West Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Waltz
Formation classes, social classes, and private/competition lessons are also available.

Clarissa Thomas is a student at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah. She is majoring in Ballroom and Modern dance, and minoring in Business Management. She recently moved to Upstate New York with her husband while he manages the Eastern Division of Star Stone Quarries. Clarissa was a member of the world renowned Brigham Young University Ballroom Company; recently returned from Blackpool – placing first in Standard and second in Latin team-formation competitions. This is the company’s 5th consecutive year to place in the top two. Clarissa competes with various partners in the International Latin and Standard, and American competitions.
