Horan takes top spot in 2007 Norwich YMCA Turkey Trot
NORWICH – Norwich resident Shaun Horan, 26, finished with a time of 16:59:1 to finish ahead of all racers in the 2007 Norwich YMCA Turkey Trot 5-K Road Race.
Murphee Hayes, 33, of Marathon, took the top Women’s spot with a final time of 19:01.2. She finished 10th overall.
The Spittler Family of Norwich took three first place group finished. Steven Spittler finished the race second overall behind Horan with a 17:13.8, winning the Men’s 15-19 division. In the Women’s 14 and under category, Sarah Spittler, 13, crossed the line 22:23.1, ending-up 42nd overall. Rounding out the 40-49 category, Amy Spittler topped her age group with a 25:01.7 end-time.
