Register to vote in presidential primaries
NORWICH – Friday, Jan. 11 is the last day for residents of Chenango County to register to vote for the Feb. 5 Democrat and Republican Presidential Primary. If you are already a registered Democrat or Republican voter in Chenango County and have moved since the last election, you may request a change of address by calling the Chenango County Board of Elections.
Prospective voters have the option of registering in person at the Board of Elections between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., including lunch hour, Monday through Friday. Any mail registration form must be postmarked no later than Jan. 11 and received by the Board of Elections not later than Jan. 16 to be eligible to vote in the Feb. 5 Presidential Primary Election.
