SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville broke its seasonal school record for wins topping last year’s victory mark with a regular-season closing win over the Indians Thursday.

Megan Record came off the bench to score 10 points in the second quarter leading her club to a 25-11 halftime lead. Danielle Green led the Marauders (16-4) with 11 points. “We played really good defense tonight, and this was a huge game for the kids going for the wins record,” said S-E coach Jeff Barry. “It was a good bounce back after the Cooperstown loss, and it put us back on the winning track for sectionals.”
