Gibson Primary will celebrate everything Suess from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6. From “Green Eggs and Ham” to “The Cat in the Hat,” the school building will be filled with exciting family fun, the faculty says.

In the school’s computer lab, brothers, sisters, dads and moms will be let loose to explore on “Seussville.com.” There will be a life size Dr. Seuss game on the Stage as Thing 1, Thing 2, Sally & Conrad need to clean up before mother gets home, says Campbell.

Beautiful Bart’s Gooey-oooy oobleck will take place in the art room. “This activity will ‘stick’ with you, maybe up to your neck! So be bold and adventurous and dip into Oobleck,” said Campbell.
“Go Dog, Go!” will be in the cafeteria where families can maze their way in and out, around and around and up and down.
“Live reading will take place in the library with ‘Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?’ ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and more stories than I can list will be read on request while the body takes a rest,” she said.
Also offered will be a book give-away and who races in the second section of the cafeteria. Bumble tumble blocks will be in the faculty room, which will allow for word making fun. Will the Silly Seuss team survive to make up wacky words or will the Finicky Fishes finish their factual words first?
Hop on pop will take place in the gym where families will hop, roll, lay run, skip and sit. Wild things are planned to go wacky with the Hop on Pop obstacle course!
“Mr. Brown can Moo, Can You?” will be in the lobby. “Our very own Mr. Brown can,” said Campbell. “You can hear this sound as well as others, like dibble, dibble, dop, dop, or even some musical tunes! You may find yourself there for many moons,” she said.
The Cat in the Hat with his dog, Winchester are planned to be roaming the halls and all activities throughout the evening.
