Norwich Emergency Management Officer A. Wesley Jones explained the storm will probably bring an array of wintery weather. “We’re going to get a mix of everything – snow, sleet and freezing rain before it switches to all rain this evening,” Jones said. Rain, which began falling Monday night, is expected to change over to a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain by mid-day today. The National Weather Service warned the precipitation could be heavy at times and significant accumulations of ice are possible. Warming temperatures Tuesday night are expected to change the precipitation to all rain. The accumulations of ice, sleet and rain depend on when the temperature change takes place.
