Village of Oxford passes $1.16 million spending plan

OXFORD – The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees held a public hearing Tuesday and adopted a $1.16 million spending plan for 2008-2009.

According to village budget information, the tax rate will be $20.66 per $1,000 of assessed value, a 58-cent (2.9 percent) increase.

• The total General Fund appropriation is $972,000, with $396,000 expected in revenue and a $576,000 tax levy.
