COPES CORNERS - G-MU was one of the few clubs that not only beat the weather, but beat the opposition in Friday's non-league victory over Downsville.
Cody Hall went 3-for-5 with a grand slam in the the Raiders' eight-run sixth inning, and Tyler Wildfeir went the distance for the win.
Wildfeir fanned nine and walked one, while giving up just four hits as G-MU improved to 2-1 on the season. Alex Schmidt added two hits in the win.
