CINCINNATUS – Cincinnatus was unable to field a complete team Tuesday against visiting Otselic Valley, and was forced to forfeit the Central Counties league game to the Vikings.
OV (9-3, 13-5) finishes the regular season in second place behind division champion DeRuyter. The Section III baseball tournament seeding meeting is Sunday, May 24, and head coach Dave Loomis said his team will likely host its opening-round game Tuesday against a team “to be determined.”

SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville’s Corey Fitzgerald set a new school record shooting a 3-under-par 32 at Mountain Top Golf Club leading the Marauders to a win over New York Mills Tuesday.
Fitzgerald tied the school record earlier this season firing a 33. Kory Rice added a 42 in the victory as S-E improved to 8-5 on the season.
