SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville won its 14th game of the season getting a complete-game victory from Caleb Brown, and timely hitting from Nate Kline and Mike Doscher.
Kline sandwiched an RBI single in the second and an RBI double in the fourth around Doscher’s run-scoring single in the third to give S-E a 3-1 lead.
Brown gave up just two hits striking out seven and walking just one. The Marauders improved to 14-7 and finish their regular season at Dolgeville today.

CINCINNATUS – Otselic Valley won its third league game of the season beating Cincinnatus Tuesday evening.
Down 1-0, the Vikings pushed two runs across in the third inning to take the lead for good. Natalie Derochie reached on an error, and came around to score on Melinda Schutt’s single. Schutt scored the winner on Amber Wood’s single.
Schutt had two hits for OV (3-9, 5-13) to support Wood’s three-hit pitching effort. The Vikings play at G-MU today.

NORWICH – Oxford scored four runs in its opening at-bat, and went on to shutout winless Norwich (0-16) Wednesday.
Ashlee Farwell struck out 11 and walked three, while allowing just one Tornado hit to lead Oxford (6-13). Farwell also had two run-scoring doubles, and teammate Alyshia Crawford finished with a team-high three hits. “We had a lot more confidence at the plate, and Ashlee pitched her best game this season,” said Oxford coach Margo Barrows.
