Bluegrass festival this weekend

COVENTRYVILLE - The Penny Memorial Day Bluegrass Festival will be held from May 23-25, at Wrench Wranch, Coventryville, Rte. 206, between Bainbridge and Greene.
Penny (Pennsylvania-New York) Country and Bluegrass Music Association is a Non-Profit group whose goal is to encourage and support old time country and bluegrass music.
Bands tentatively playing will be Cabin Fever, Chester Johnson & Wall of Time Re-Union, Nearly Brothers, Cedar Ridge, Grassstation, Plexigrass, Matthew Family Band, Lonesome Road Ramblers, Slewfoot, and Bluestone Mountain Boys. Friday night is round and square dancing with John Wood and the Praire Ramblers and Doc Weismore and the Ridge Road Ramblers.
Weekend tickets are $25. There is free rough camping with purchase of a weekend ticket or Friday night tickets are $5, Saturday tickets $15, and Sunday tickets are $12. Concession stand will be open - good food at reasonable prices, 50-50 raffles, pleanty of field picking will be going on, so bring your instruments. Handicapped accessible bathrooms and showers on premises. Dump station is on the premises.
