Grand opening for Norwich businesss
The women at Teasers, a full nail and hair salon on South Broad Street celebrated their grand opening Friday with Norwich Mayor Joe Maiurano. The salon that opened officially May 6 is owned by Nancy Beadle who specializes in acrylic nails and Penny Brown who specializes in hair design. The two women have worked together for approximately six years on East River Road in Norwich. “This has been my plan for a long time,” said Beadle, who added she was simply waiting for the right location and the right talent to come along in order to expand. Other hair designers include Carissa Brown, who is coming back in June from her maternity leave, and Missy Beers. The two hair designers also have a history in the business together as they too have worked side by side for the past eight years. The four women agree offering nail and hair services in the same location will make it easier for their clients. “We have been busy, our first week was great with a lot of walk-in traffic,” said Beadle. To make an appointment call 334-5744. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m., until they are finished with all their customers.
