3rd Annual Prindle golf tournament June 27

NORWICH – In two years, the Mary Jane Prindle Memorial Golf tournament has raised more than $10,000 for Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County.

The third annual Prindle tournament to benefit Hospice is coming up Friday, June 27, at the Canasawacta Country Club.

Organizer Walt Prindle, who started the captain and crew style tournament to honor the memory of his late wife, Mary Jane, who died several years ago of cancer, said it was important to give back to Hospice for the care and compassion the organization showed his family during her illness.

“This tournament is really to help a great, local non-profit,” said Prindle, referring to Hospice.
