Lynne Epstein to hold book signing Saturday

NORWICH – After successfully ending an Internet-based relationship, Lynne C. Epstein knew that she wanted to write about her experience to help other women figure out when a relationship is no good.

The Binghamton area author will be signing copies of her book, “Subtle Deception: A Woman’s Struggle to Let Go of an Internet Relationship” this weekend at First Edition Book Store in Norwich.

“Subtle Deception” is a true story detailing Epstein’s one-year relationship with a man she met on the Internet. After a series of failed relationships and three failed marriages, Lynne met the man on the net and began a relationship. Through a series of real life Internet communications, Epstein relives the relationship, pointing out all of the red flags and deceptions that she ignored when she was living through them.

Epstein explained that she felt it was important to write the book to help people who were in a similar situation. “When I was talking to people after this happened, I was taken back. So many people are in these relationships where they are not getting back what they put in,” Epstein said. She explained that she hopes her book can help people who are going through what she went through.
