Four-way stop to replace light at West Main, Guernsey, Elm intersection

NORWICH – The City of Norwich Common Council passed a motion to change the two-way stop at the intersection of West Main, Guernsey and Elm streets to a four-way stop.

The stop light at the intersection was changed several months ago to a two-way stop at Guernsey and Elm and a blinking caution light on West Main. Council members said the intersection has created a great deal of confusion amongst drivers. “We’re lucky no one’s been hurt at this point,” said Sixth Ward Alderman Robert Jeffrey.
