SHERBURNE – On Friday, New York State Police in Norwich arrested Charles L. Collins, 28, Sherburne, for promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, as the result of a joint investigation that was conducted by the New York State Police Computer Crime Unit, the Sherburne Police Department, FBI Binghamton, Southern Tier Cyber Predator Task Force, and the Chenango County Sheriff’s department.
Collins was arraigned in the Village of Sherburne Court and remanded to the Chenango County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
