GREENE – Greene distributed the ball and the scoring evenly amongst its team raising its record to 5-0 on the season with a shutout of B-G Saturday.
Five different players scored goals and four others had assists for the Trojans. Alex Driscoll opened the scored just 1:30 into play, and 30 seconds later, David Fors made it 2-0. Pat Porter and Ethan Buhl made it 4-0 at halftime, and Mark Day scored in the second half.
“This game allowed us to get other kids in and move the ball around,” said Greene coach Rick Tallman. “We shared the wealth, and we like everyone on the team to know they have an important role. They all did a nice job of distributing.”
Greene visits fellow unbeaten Delhi on Wednesday.

DERUYTER – Coming off a shutout win over host DeRuyter, the Vikings were overwhelmed by Tully in the finals, that despite scoring the opening goal.
“Tully is a very good passing, they got to the ball quickly and had too many scoring opportunities,” said OV coach Dave Loomis.
OV’s David Cerasani put his team on top off a Dusty Davis pass. Tully scored the next five goals to take a 5-1 lead at the break.
Friday, Cerasani had two goals, while Nate Stark and Davis also tallied. “We got out front early and kind of played them even up most of the second half,” Loomis said.
The Vikings face George Jr. Republic today.

WELLS BRIDGE – Unadilla Valley won its second straight game posting a shutout at Unatego Saturday.
Fred Hutchinson, coming off a hat trick against Afton, had two more goals for the Storm. Mike Burchill and Jimmy Jachim added goals to an offensive attack that grabbed a 2-0 lead at the break. “We looked really good this game and came out and played with a lot of intensity,” said UV coach Ryan Houck.
Tom Wallace and Mike Anson combined on five saves for the shutout.

CHENANGO FORKS – All of the scoring came in the first 10 minutes of each half as Chenango Forks turned away Norwich’s bid for a first win this season.
Forks’ Corey Bruet had both goals in the second half to break a 1-1 halftime tie. Bruet’s attempted crossing pass from long range wound up finding the top corner of the net at 6:25, and his second goal came just over two minutes later as he re-directed a cross to the far post.
“Chenango Forks is not the same team as JC, Oneonta or Maine-Endwell, but it’s a good team,” said Norwich coach John McCumiskey. “They had a lot of shots, but we played pretty well compared to what we did before. We didn’t give up as many, and we scored on a nice play.”
After Forks opened the scoring 3:24 into the game, Allen Sun’s through ball to Shawn Bush tied the game for Norwich at 5:07.
