St. Malachy's marks 150 years
St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Sherburne is celebrating 150 years as a welcoming spiritual home serving Catholics from Sherburne, Smyrna, Earlville, Columbus, North Norwich and South Hamilton. Yesterday was a Parish History Sunday at St. Malachy’s Parish Hall. Every part of the parish was represented with displays and written accounts of each group’s history. Pictured are Rose Tenney, event chair; Mary Lawrence, parish historian; Paul DelFuoco, parish finance chair; Father Lester Smith, pastor of St. Malachy’s; and Chris Henschel, Town of Sherburne Historian.
