Bush arrested again

NORWICH – Just a day after being released without bail on a shooting charge, Lee M. Bush was arrested again Wednesday, this time for marijuana.

The City of Norwich Police Department, responding to a noise complaint, say they discovered Bush, 49, smoking marijuana in his Court Street driveway. He was issued a summons to appear in Norwich City Court for unlawful possession of marijuana at a later date.

Bush was released without bail by Supreme Court Justice Kevin M. Dowd Tuesday. He’d been held on $10,000 bail since being accused of shooting two men with birdshot Sept. 5 as they fled his property following an “alcohol and drug-fueled argument,” according to police.
