Windsor unveils ‘Souvenirs’ book

NORWICH – Local historian and author Donald Windsor will talk about his new book, “Souvenirs of Yesteryear: Volume 1” at 7 p.m. Monday at Guernsey Memorial Library in Norwich.
Windsor’s column of the same name ran in The Evening Sun from 2001 to 2008. A total of 206 articles were produced, the first 44 of which are published in “Volume 1.”
Windsor is a “field historian” – he wanders around the forests, the fields and even the urban settlements of Chenango County seeking out the relics of the past, his beloved souvenirs.
Monday’s author talk is open to the public. Call Guernsey at 334-4034 for more information.
