MARATHON – Marathon was able to turn the tables on Greene and gain some redemption from an early-season loss.
The Olympians rallied with two goals over the final seven minutes to prevail over Greene. Coming out of a timeout with nine minutes left, Marathon kept the pressure on and tied the game at 7:06 on Tessa Knapp’s second goal of the game. Marta Malmberg had the winner with 3:55 remaining after a penalty corner.
