Otselic Valley 5, DeRuyter 0

DERUYTER – Under the lights at DeRuyter, Otselic Valley heads into the Section III playoffs on the upswing with a shutout of the Rockets Friday.

OV (11-6) scored twice in the first half to take command, and five different players were credited with goals.

“We did a real good job controlling the game with our passing, and our shots found the net,” said OV coach Dave Loomis. “That hasn’t happened in a lot of games this season, but we did a better job of focusing on putting it in the net, and it showed up in the scoring.”

Adam Duell, Nate Stark, Dave Cerasani, Dusty Davis, and Brandon Coye had goals in the OV win.

Summary
