Trailer park resident arrested for burglary

NORWICH – A Norwich man, who is currently facing burglary charges in Chenango County court for allegedly stealing woman’s lingerie in May, was again arrested by police Tuesday for attempting to break into a local residence.

Paul J. Hendrickson, 19, Bourbon Street, Norwich, was arrested in May for second degree burglary after police “recovered approximately two dozen articles of women’s undergarments that had been stolen from the victims,” said Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Richard Cobb.

Hendrickson was charged with another felony yesterday – second degree attempted burglary – and was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility by the Town of Norwich Court in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

The detective said he was unable to elaborate on investigators’ specific concerns, other than to say there was a possibility that Hendrickson might be released on bail.
