Greene stages 'Alice in Wonderland Jr.'

GREENE – Do these songs sound familiar? “I’m Late,” “The Un-birthday Song,” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah”???
Do the character names Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cats and Dodo Bird ring a bell?
And …for quote lovers, can you name that Disney production?
“We’re all mad here”
“Twinkle, twinkle, little bat! How I wonder what you’re at.”
“I don’t believe there’s an atom of meaning in it.”
Either way you can enjoy the fast-paced stage adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” performed by Greene Central School Footlights at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday in the Greene Central School auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors.
Greene Central School Middle and High School music director Amanda Boel, directs her fourth middle school production with the assistance of Greene High School student directors Abby Conner, Ian Detweiler, Kasey Heisler, Kortney Miranda, and Joel Nelson.
Join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!
