SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville won its third straight game on Saturday, and captured the S-E Tournament consolation game over UV for the second time in as many years.
A breakaway third quarter, one in which the Marauders outscored the Storm 21-5, put the game out of reach. “We came out with a lot of intensity and pressure,” said S-E coach Karen Mulligan of the third stanza. “We talked about playing better offensively, and we were able to do that.”
