Local aviation enthusiasts recognized

NORWICH – Aviation enthusiasts gathered to recognize the contributions of some of their own at the Experimental Aircraft Association Annual Dinner and Holiday Party.

Joe Toriello, Steve Bliss and Dave Dibbell were recognized with Service Awards during the event.

Comprised of local recreational pilots, flight instructors, experimental aircraft builders and balloonists, EAA is dedicated to generating interest in aviation. The local chapter is led by President Dave Sheldon.

“The real key purpose (of EAA) is getting young people involved in aviation,” Sheldon explained.
