NORWICH – Grab your dancing shoes and come celebrate Valentines Day with style at the Chenango County SPCA 5th Annual Valentine Fur Ball, which is going to be held on Saturday, Feb. 14. The CCSPCA will be hosting the Fur Ball at the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich. Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until 11 p.m., featuring live music from the band Splash.
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase during the event with incredible prizes including a week vacation in Florida. Because this year’s ball falls directly on Valentine’s Day, there will be a special dinner including pawsitively yummy desserts. Commemorative photos will be provided by Vantine Imaging.
Executive Director Carol Hedlund said “Each year our Fur Ball has become more exciting and fun for everyone. I was thrilled with the success of our 2008 event. Our community was so supportive and a great time was had by all. Our animals were the benefactors of their kindness so I’m truly looking forward to Fur Ball 2009.”

Tickets to the 5th Annual Fur ball are $45 per individual ticket, or $85 per pair of tickets. Pairs of tickets will include a complimentary rose.
