Open Felting Studio Workshop at the Earlville Opera House
EARLVILLE – Popular fiber artist Lisa Merian will once again offer her “Open Felting Studio Workshop” to the Earlville Opera House, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday. This class will review various wet and dry felting techniques. Participants will design and create their own unique felted projects with layers of hand-dyed wool and other fibers from Spinner Hill Farms.
This class will include new instruction on needle felting techniques but also allows participants to create a project that expands on previous techniques learned in classes. Three-dimensional projects are also possible.
Registration is $50 for members of the Earlville Opera House and $55 for non-members. For small projects this registration fee includes the materials fees for $22 worth of materials. If a larger project is desired, it may incur additional materials fees.
Early registrations are encouraged so that we can call you in the event that the class needs to be rescheduled due to bad weather. To register, call the Earlville Opera House at (315) 691-3550. For more information about upcoming events, visit the EOH website at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com. The Earlville Opera House is located on East Main Street, at NYS Route 12B.
Earlville Opera House events are made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency, and through the generosity of Earlville Opera House members.
