Five injured in Coventry crash expected to make full recoveries

COVENTRY– Five people who were injured in a two-car accident in the Town of Coventry Wednesday are expected to make full recoveries; some have already been released from the hospital.

The accident took place at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday night at the intersection of County Route 27 and State Highway 41.

A minivan operated by Cherif Diallo, 21, of New York City, was traveling south along Rt. 27 and failed to stop at the intersection, sliding into the path of a car traveling west on St. Hwy. 41, operated by Lindsay Mccandless, 25, of Greene.
