Celebrity cookie auction benefits The Children's Center

The Children’s Center kicked off its annual fundraising campaign Thursday night at the Norwich Fire House. The “Cookies and Cream” event included a celebrity cookie auction, children’s activities and, of course, plenty of milk and cookies. Norwich Police Chief Joe Angelino took top honors for his buttery almond cookies; winning both the Tastiest Celebrity Cookie Award and the coveted Golden Cookie, for raising the most money in the event’s silent auction. Pictured are Campaign Chair Martha Brower-Ryan, Angelino, the friendly blue cookie-loving monster and Jane Coddington, Executive Director of Catholic Charities.
