OWEGO – Norwich climbed back from a 13-point deficit in the first half to rally past Owego in overtime Wednesday night.

Hannah Runyon scored 13 of her 19 points after halftime to lead Norwich. In overtime, Tatyana Ithier’s three-pointer edged the Tornado in front, 45-44. After Owego hit a free throw, Runyon put back an offensive rebound for the game-winning points.

Runyon had nine offensive rebounds and 13 total boards for the game. Adrienne Sharpe also had nine rebounds.

“We had some cold shooting in the first half,” said Norwich coach Krista Porter. “We rebounded better and they didn’t shoot it as well.”
