PRESTON – Three people have been arrested by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the alleged rape of an underage girl.

Aaron A. Detraz, 21, of Green Forest, Ark., has been charged with the statutory rape and assault of a female victim under the age of 17. Detraz was charged with third degree rape, third degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Two other associates of Detraz were allegedly aware of the abuse and were charged with failing to report the early 2009 incidents to authorities.

Allison M., 32, and Charles J. Armlin, 42, both of Preston, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child for acting in a manner that caused emotional and mental injury to the youth. Allison was also charged with third degree assault for allegedly taking part in physical abuse of the girl.
