NHS rehearses for 'Oliver'

NORWICH – This year the Norwich High School music department will be presenting Lionel Bart's musical classic “Oliver!”  This all-time favorite will be presented on the NHS stage on Friday and Saturday April 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. General admission is $5 with advance tickets being sold at First Edition Bookstore and Service Pharmacy - Norwich.  Tickets are also available at the door before each performance.   
Norwich Middle School sixth grader Tyler Roberts is in the title role portraying Oliver Twist.  The other lead roles include: Chris Kappel - Fagin, Katrina Daoud - Nancy, Matt Robinson - Bill Sykes, Erin McMahon - Widow Corney, Galen Morehead - Mr. Bumble, Ethan Steers - Mr. Sowerberry and Hayley Chwazik-Gee - Mrs. Sowerberry. 
Director Mark Sands said that this will truly be a show for the entire family so, put the dates on your calendar.
