Two Bainbridge teens charged with multiple felonies over break-ins

BAINBRIDGE – Two teens have been charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanor charges after they allegedly broke into a number of vehicles and garages in the Town of Bainbridge March 10.
Ryan A. Price, 18, and Kenneth E. Oefelein, 19, were charged with three counts of third degree burglary, a D felony, two counts of fourth degree grand larceny, an E felony, and three counts of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Prior to his arrest Wednesday, Price was charged earlier in the year with two other felonies, two counts of fourth degree grand larceny, for allegedly stealing two fire arms.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office also reported Monday that it had arrested Price for sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child over allegations that he had a relationship with a 15-year-old girl in the Town of Bainbridge.
The two men allegedly broke into cars and garages stealing several items including an ATV and some firearms between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.
New York State Troopers reported that they had recovered some of the stolen items near Price’s residence.
In addition to the ATV and firearms, Troopers recovered books, ammunition, alcohol, sneakers and several other items.
Price and Oefelein were arraigned in Afton Town Court Wednesday and remanded to Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
