NORWICH – Hidden Ponds Stables, 390 Wells Road in Norwich, will host an English schooling horse show beginning at 10 a.m. this Sunday. Classes from lead line through jumping will be offered throughout the day and members of the Oneonta State Equestrian Team will be on hand to give demonstrations. There will also be a money-added pleasure class, according to Sue Benjamin, one of the event’s organizers.

“This is a good, affordable local show,” Benjamin said, which will provide a good warm-up to the show season and an opportunity for those looking to compete for the first time.

The cost to participants is $7 per class, plus a $7 office or registration fee. Spectators, including members of the public, are encouraged to attend, Benjamin said. “It’s open to anyone who wants to watch.”
