Joint Broome, Chenango investigation leads to meth bust

GREENE – In a joint effort, the Chenango and Broome County Sheriff’s Offices executed a no-knock search warrant of a Greene man’s home for suspicion of producing and trafficking methamphetamine.

Police arrested 42-year-old James Kehl and 39-year-old Terri Sessions, both of 660 Cummings Rd., Greene. The search warrant was executed at 6:30 p.m. on April 24 at Kehl’s residence.

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and the Broome County Special Investigations Unit arrested the two defendants following an ongoing investigation into the sale of methamphetamine in Broome County.

“The Broome County Sheriff suspected he (Kehl) was selling methamphetamine in Broome County. They took a closer look at him found out where he lived and contacted us to aid in the arrest and investigation,” said Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Richard M. Cobb.
