Edmeston NBT robbed this morning
EDMESTON – At approximately 9:05 a.m., a reported robbery occurred to the NBT Bank on West Street in Edmeston. The New York State Police and the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office are at the scene.
The description of the suspect has been provided as a white male, approximately 6’3”, 200 to 240 pounds, with a mustache and black hair. The suspect was wearing a forest green Carhart style jacket, with an attached hood, with a hooded sweat shirt underneath and a black baseball hat. The suspect was seen lingering outside the bank prior to the robbery. No weapon was displayed, and the suspect was last seen on foot traveling east on State Route 80.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the New York State Police at Sidney 561-7400.
