County Historical Society director resigns
NORWICH – After ten years as the Executive Director of the Chenango County Historical Society, Dr. David Drucker submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors recently.
The board expressed their appreciation to Drucker for bringing the society to this point in time and in carrying out the mission of the society to the best of his ability. “Everyone wished Dr. Drucker well in his pursuit of new interests,” a statement from the board read.
A board representative said they will look forward to Drucker’s return to the Historical Society as a knowledgeable speaker and event volunteer.
A farewell opportunity is planned for a special event in mid-July.
