Hotaling, Clark named STAC all-conference players
BINGHAMTON – Five Norwich players were named to the Southern Tier Athletic Conference baseball all-star teams last week, the largest contingent of postseason honorees in Tornado head coach John Martinson’s tenure.
Named to the STAC Central/East All-Conference team were junior Christian Hotaling at third base, and senior Timmy Clark at the utility position.
Named STAC Central Division All-Stars were junior first baseman Josh Borfitz, junior second baseman Richie Bonney, and senior third baseman, Mike Moon.
“At the league baseball baseball meeting, our players had a lot of respect from the other teams in our division, and even teams such as Maine-Endwell,” Martinson said. “It was a good season for us, even though we didn’t win as many games as we had hoped.”
