Chamber announces tournament winners
OXFORD – Commerce Chenango and title sponsor New York Central Mutual are pleased to congratulate all of the winners of the 23rd Annual Summer Golf Event that was held recently at the Blue Stone Golf Club in Oxford.
The first place team of Coughlin & Gerhardt consisting of team members Joe and Terri Steflik and Tim and Beth Koval, won the overall tournament with a score of 61. Second place went to Burrell’s Excavating with team members Matt Burrell, Wayne Burrell, George Carnrike and Bryan Smith. Third place went to the NBT Bank team of Dave Harris, Brendan Hannan, Ron Sioke, and Mike Woods.
The surprise of the day was when John Brown on the Mang Insurance team shot a hole-in-one on #15, and won a Taylormade Burner Driver and Burner Fairway Woods (3&5). Other prizes awarded throughout the day went to Sidney Federal Credit Union, Wayne Burrell, Mang Insurance Agency, Chenango Valley Pet Foods, Morrisville State College, Norwich Campus, New York Central Mutual and others.
