GUILFORD – Our new farming committee was established this year in order to work on the history of farming in Guilford. We have talked about this for a number of years and now is the time to begin the research. The beginning project will be to take photos of our existing farms. Coupled with this is the collection of old photos of farmland, farmhouses, barns, silos etc. Tina Pabst stimulated our interest at a meeting with the idea of creating a GHS farm calendar that will be sold. This is a good first step.
