Tornado golfers lose opening match
PLYMOUTH – Norwich’s golf team dropped its opening match of the season, Tuesday at Canasawacta Country Club.
Windsor’s Chris Strichek shot a match-low 38 for the Black Knights on the par-36 front nine at C.C.C. in a 217-222 win over the Tornado linksters.
Eric Walling paced Norwich shooting a 40, Jacob Kelly was one shot back at 41, and Frank Somich posted a 44 for NHS.
Norwich plays Sus Valley Thursday at the Conklin Players Club.
