Guilford cuts ribbon on town hall/highway garage project

GUILFORD – The Town of Guilford celebrated the grand opening of the new Guilford Town Hall and Highway Garage with an Open House Saturday. The event began with a ribbon cutting ceremony presided over by Deputy Town Supervisor Bruce Winsor and Councilman George Seneck. Town residents who attended were treated to guided tours of both facilities and light refreshments, which were provided by 4-H and local volunteers. The Chenango County Board of Elections also made an appearance at the event, where they took the opportunity to demonstrate the new voting machines which will be used in the next election.
