With the majority of the planning work done for the current season, attention turns to implementation plans and securing good quality performers for the 2010-2011 season. Now the fun will be in putting all the details into effect and enjoying the fruits of their labors and watching others enjoying it, too.
Information about the performing arts series, corporate sponsors, local businesses and patrons are highlighted in program books that are available at each performance. This year’s season is being dedicated to Father Chuck Taylor who along with his wife, Donna, have been members of the community for 24 years and members of the New Berlin Art Forum for 23 of them. Here they raised their family while adding to the spiritual, social, educational and cultural success of the community.
Also featured in the program book this year is The Unadilla Valley Railway Society and Museum which stands as a monument to life in another time, but the same space. Although the original Railway has been dismantled, what remains must be preserved. As a group, the volunteers strive to protect the maps, artifacts and memorabilia of bygone days while restoring the Depot on Railroad Street.
